Well, well, just when I was wondering if Mamedyarov ever wins a game of chess …
old
Keep in mind that Kamsky, just like Kramnik preparing for his match with Anand, is in the process of preparing for his match with Topalov. Kamsky has to hold back moves in order to keep from revealing secret preparations and theoretical novelties. Better to lose a couple of games in a tournament than to lose a match that qualifies you to play for the World Championship.
Well said Anonymous!
no rocket science, of course they have other priorities
But the Kamsky-Topalov match is scheduled for 2009, why hold back playing well until then, and that too for a match that has not been finalized yet?
yes it’s been finalised, signed and all !!
they will play in 2017
it will be 2 blitz + 2 sec
if it’s ex-aequo they will both be declared world champions
Carlsen then will have to pass a psychological test to check if he can play the qualifications for 2035
great news !!!
over-exagerated, perhaps funny?
