Please , can you repeat move , i can’t’ see live/game
i would love to have karjakin vs carlsen, but i think shirov will beat sergei. so the final will be carlsen – shirov.
GATA KAMSKY all the way!!!!
karjakin / Shirov 1/2
Kamsky / carlsen ??? ( advantage to kamsky )
the final will be kamsky vs shirov. Kamsky is a better player and he’s crushing carlsen. Go Gata!!!!!!!
Kamsky won!!
KAMSKY WON!!! KAMSKY WON!!!! WAY TO GO I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING HIM SINCE THE OLE DAYS!!! SO DOES THIS MEAN THAT HE IS IN THE FINALS?
move 19 … a5 by Carlsen was a big mistake and Gata jumped on it and won the game.
Very well played by Gata. Carlsen made the mistake of playing the Petroff for a draw. He should have played his own game for a win.
The final match will be 4 regular time games followed by faster playoffs. So basically there is time to recover from one loss. A 4 game match is going to be much harder to win then a 2 game match. They will have to change strategy somewhat.
Karjakin going into the faster time playoffs with Shirov tomorrow. I give the younger Karjakin the edge. But Shirov is not easy to beat.
with carlsen out, i guess i’m rooting for kamsky at this point – he’s such a strong positional player and i think topalov will have problems against him
prior results (4 1/2 to 2 1/2 in favor of Kamsky)were a good predictor, but probably Carlsen will sometime begin defeating Kamsky.
Sad to see Carlsen get knocked out. I was looking forward to the faster playoffs. I find the faster games kind of exciting.
Go Gata Go
All the Way with Gata
Kamsky is really showing how good a player he used to be. He was terrific. I was so sad to see him drop out. But I guess a doctor was a better income than chess. But great to see him back and in such good form.
I hope the chess community starts to support his continued rise to the top. He can not do it all alone. We must not pass by this opportunity.
Nakamura could use some help also. He is still young and has a great life ahead of him. Hopefully he gets more support.
too bad Kamsky can’t play like that against Topalov.
