k any Queen & knight combine
beautifully to deliver mate.
The monster on f6 gives White a nice mating combination:
1. Rd7+ Kf8
2. Rxf7! Kxf7 The queen now joins the attack.
3. Qd7+ Kf8
4. Qxc8+ Kf7
4. … Ke7 5. Qe8#
4. … Kg7 leads to the same mate as above, one move earlier
5. Qe8+ Kg7
6. Qg7+ Kh6
7. Qh7#
Quick and forced:
1. Rd7+ Kf8
2. Rxf7+ Kxf7
3. Qd7+ Kf8
4. Qxc8+ Kf7
5. Qe8+ Kg7
6. Qg8+ Kh6

There is a delaying move for black: 4… Qd8 5. Qxd8+, but that only delays the mate by 1 move.
1.Rd7 Kf8
2.Rxf7+ Kf7
3.Qd7+ Kf8
4.Qc8+ Kf7 (4..Kg7 5.Qg8+ is one move shorter, Ke7 Qe8#)

6.Qg8+ Kh6
7.Qh7#
The king can be chased to the edge, Q mate on h8. A temporary rook sack does it (all other moves play themselves).
1. Rd7+ Kf8 (only legal move)
2. Rxf7+! (The point. Qh5? Qg1+!)
2. … Kxf7 (only legal move)
3. Qd7+ Kf8 (only legal move)
4. Qxc8+ Kg7 ((Kf7 Qg8+) Ke7 Qe8#)
5. Qg8+ Kh6
6. Qh8#
On the second move I for a short time looked for the creation of a knight fork on d7 at Q+K, but recognized this to be nonsence….
I might not have seen this win over the board, but a piece of cake for Jutit!
The main theme to recognize here would be the magnetic rook sack check in front of a 6th rank knight.
It should be mate in 7, since black may give a queen sack on move 4.
1.Rd7+ Kf8 2.Rxf7+ Kxf7 3.Qd7+ Kf8 4.Qxc8+ Kf7 (if 4… Kg7, then 5.Qg8+; or if 4… Ke7 5.Qe8#) 5.Qe8+ Kg7 6.Qg8+ Kh6 7.Qh7# (or 7.Qh8#)
1. Rd7+ Kf8
2. Rxf7+ Kxf7

1. Rd7+ Kf8
2. Rf7+ Kf7
3. Qd7+ Kf8
4. Qc8+ Kf7
(4. … Ke7 5. Qe8#
4. … Kg7 similar to below)
5. Qe8+ Kg7
6. Qg8+ Kh6
7. Qh8#
Black can delay at 4 by Qd8, but cannot prevent mate.
The game plays by itself. A bad example to the style of an exceptionally talented player. All eyes on her performance in WCC 2011.
