Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
This is a very exciting event. Hope they’ll continue to fight.
How hard to get a win at this level!
Allgames was draws except one game was won after 98 moves!
Jakovenko who won a pawn was unable to convert it to a win after 124 moves!
It is very hard to have a win at the highest level, because
The high rated players hate to lose and they knew how to avoid it (they already knew every base principles of chess), and move the game towards a draw.
So Nerve wracking and it’s a prove, it’s hard to make a living from something that you love (a hobby).
