Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Good Job!!!!!!!! Bronze medals all around for the Americans.
Well done to the USA: punching above their weight too.
Kudos to the USCF for picking the team.
Good job USCF for a good process of selection for the members of Team USA.
Congratulations Team USA!!!
Good job to Susan and Paul for their inspiring presence and surely good advice to the two teams!
If Susan was playing as well, Gold for sure!!!
Good job to the USCF for being completely useless and the cause of the end of Gata’s chess career.
Thank goodness Gata has a trade to fall back on…
If the USCF spent more time and energy in chess instead of attacking fellow board members and helping certain ex-husbands get back at his ex-wife, we would have enough money for Gata.
Is this true? Why weren’t the rest of the USCF membership told these things? We thought only GM Polgar was the attacker.
Anon 12:13,
You are a fucking moron.
Goichberg and his band of merry idiots have been following the lead of Sam Sloan, Randy Bauer, Randy Hough, Jack Ass Lafferty, and Susan’s Ex to find a way to remove Susan and Paul from the board. Susan and Paul wishes to uncover the curruption that the current board members enjoy such as unlimited access to USCF funds through friends like Jennifer S. and B. Mottershead and Chess Magnet School.
Congratulations to all players, especially for medalist. Pity that my country women team, Poland, haven’t won a medal. Next time will be better.
Artur, Poland
It is easy to spot that in the 3 medal-wining women teams, players were born in the former USSR. Even USA’s men team, 4/5 are from there.

It doesn’t matter because the USA is country of immigrants. This is why this nation is so strong and beautiful to live. Besides, Russia did not even land in the top 3 on both women and men sections.
Congratulation USA!
Its true the mercenaries have done their job well but basically , if you look well , it is (once again .. )a great victory for Soviet Chess school today …
Not to mention that this tournament system was clearly rubbish , frankly the most unfair ever , seeing some teams met just once or twice top seeds and got 3rd place or top 10 whereas some teams who fared well considering they had to take on most of the top seeds got screwed in the final standings .. anyway … congrats to medal winners..
Surely you USCF-haters can back off and give the USCF some credit for sending two medal-winning teams to the Olympiad.
This is the best result for us for ages, better than the Women’s Silver in 2004.
Keep taking the pictures Paul: that’s your forte.
I do wonder how ‘fair’ the pairing system was, and how meaningful coming 1st-2nd-3rd is in the context of the pairing system and the 2-1-0 blunt-instrument scoring.

For your information Mr. J.A. Laugherty. The USCF is the membership not you and the demented Executive Board. Unfortunately, in order for us to get rid of the current board, it is necessary to get rid of the USCF in its current form. A new federation will rise from the ashes of the old one. Good riddance to you and Goichberg.
Perhaps Gata can have Russia sponsor his title match. The USA is not prepared to create a native world champion. Those are the facts. Down with the evil USCF EB!

Sam Slaon hasn’t been taking his mental medication again.
Since when is Bronze better than Silver? Only in Sloan’s world are nuggets of crap equal to diamonds.
Pathetic.
