Wesley has had some good success with black when he was fighting to win (he’s had long success with the Sicilian, and his French preparation in the World Cup couple of years ago claimed some very big scalps).
His struggle with black lately seems to have been more due to him fighting to “just equalize”, so maybe he should revisit that mindset.
