Reagan Magnet School Scholars In Progress

The Reagan Magnet School Scholars In Progress students are learning to incorporate chess strategies into their daily classroom tasks. The students become better problem solvers who can see down the path and recognize the consequences of their actions. Even the first- and second-graders have learned that these chess tactics can become character-building strategies. In April, they will participate in a district-wide chess tournament.
