The Christmas Connection is now open and aims to help more than 600 needy families have a brighter holiday this year.

Today we are asking for your help making a teenage boy’s wishes come true.

His father is in prison, his mother’s parental rights have been terminated and he is living with an aunt in Tallahassee.

The 16 year old would like a bus pass for StarMetro so he can get around town to apply for a job.

He needs baggy jeans and pants in a size 48, shirts and sweaters in a size 5XL and a warm jacket too.

He likes to play chess and would like a chess set and some art supplies.

This is case #122.

If you can help this young man, or any other family, take donations to the Christmas Connection at 3954 West Pensacola Street or call 850-575-TREE to find out how you can help.

Here is the teen’s wish list:

StarMetro bus pass
chess game
art supplies (sketch pad, pencils, etc)
food
toiletries: deoderant, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, lotion, etc.
warm jacket – size 5x, dark colored with hood
jeans – long, baggy, size 48
shirts/sweaters – size 5XL
sneakers – black, size 11
underwear (briefs) – size 48
