When you are on, you are on. IM Hess was completely losing to GM Gareev. But Gareev managed to find an incredible way to lose the game. Hess was the first to admit that he was very lucky. But a win is a win, especially when you are chasing a GM norm. On the other hand, Robson won 3 straight to get back to even score. It is still technically possible for Ray to earn his GM norm

OK so the position looks like a dead draw, and the results here say 1/2-1/2, but the commentary and the MonRoi results say 1-0.
What happens? The final position on Monroi is drawn, what Gareev did?
