Grandmaster Yasser Seirawan was born on March 24, 1960 in Damascus, Syria. He won the World Junior Championship in 1979. He also won 4 U.S. Championships. His current rating is still over 2650, 4th highest after Nakamura, Kamsky, and Onischuk.
