The 2015 Ptuj International Chess Tournament took place from October 24-31, in Ptuj, a city in Slovenia.
The event was a 9-round Swiss open tournament with tempo 90′/40 moves + 30′ + 30″.
65 players from Croatia, Czech Republic, Norway, Poland and Slovenia took part in the event but Croatian GM Robert Zelcic emerged a solo winner with 8/9 points, leaving the runner-up, FM Peter Kokol from Slovenia, half a point behind.
2015 Slovenian champion GM Marko Tratar remained third with 7 points
WMK Barbara Skuhala was the best female player with 5.5 points and 14th place in the final ranking.
