The 2015 Visma Chess Festival took place from 24-28th June, in Vaxjo, Sweden.

The event was separated into three 10-player round robin tournaments, valid for FIDE rating and norms.

Bulgarian GM Krasimir Rusev and IM Daniel Howard Fernandez of England tied for the first place in Visma GM Tournament with 6,5/9 points each, but Rusev prevailed on a superior tie-break score to lift the trophy, while Fernandez managed to fulfill his second GM norm.

IM Rasmus Svane from Germany, GM Yuri Solodovnichenko from Ukraine and GM Berg Emanuelfrom Sweden shared third place after the whole group finished the event with 6 points.

Visma IM-Group A Tournament was convincingly topped by Swedish player FM Philip Lindgren who scored 7 points out of 9 games to earn the IM norm.

Ukrainian player IM Petr Golubka was also convincing in Visma IM-Group B. He won the event with 7,5/9 points, leaving the runner-up, FM Johan-Sebastian Christiansen from Norway, 1,5 points behind. The latter, however, fulfilled his IM norm, playing at Elo performance of 2451.
