It is so good to see Kortchnoi alive and kicking. More than 25 years ago, as a child I played against him in a Simu and actually I drew!

Gm Korchnoi won in style. He is a genius!
Along with Keres, he’s a man who would have been World Champion, if not for the Soviets. It’s amazing his playing is this strong at his age. What’s his score so far? 2.5 out of 3 in this tournament?

Who would you pick as the strongest players who have not been World Champions?
Only three come to my mind – Shelhter, Keres and Kortchnoi. A pity Keres never had a shot at the title.
