As a female chess player, i am personally dissapointed in the segregation of female and male chess players. At first I was excited about the idea of all girl chess tournaments but when I found out about all boy chess tournaments something lit up inside me. I believe that girls are just as good as guys and we should not be supporting the idea that female chess players are inferior to male chess players and therefore need their own tournament.
