When I started this blog site in May 2005, the idea was simply to reach out to the chess fans and enthusiasts from across the globe. I always felt that there was a lack of connection between the chess professionals and the chess supporters.
At that time, I could not have imagined how successful this blog site would be. To show my appreciation to all of you, Polgar Chess will award a special prize (autographed DVDs, T-Shirts, Books, Boards, etc.) every month to the most interesting, funny, informative or helpful post.
The condition is only posts from registered users will be judged (since there is no way to verify posts from anonymous posters).
Once again, thank you for your support. Keep on blogging! I will do my best to continue bringing up interesting subjects.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

Thanks Susan! This is the best chess blog on the planet!
Sweet. I want one of those Fritz brain implants like Topalov has.
Great blog. One suggestion though – I try and read your blog posts thro’ bloglines (via your atom feed). However, it’s very difficult to read there due to the colours used in the post – the entire post is blurred out. I can send you a screen shot if required.
Wow. That’s a terrific gesture Susan. I’ll try and think of something interesting to say for my next entry!
PS
This is wonderful news! I will register immediately.
Thanks!
Jon
No, thank you. Where I live I dont know any grandmasters, so to get a chance to read the daily postings, especiall y when they are about chess is great.
Thanks Susan, for the wonderful incentive!!!
This Chess Blog is GREAT!!!
How do you find the time?
You accomplished what most can only dream of, both in Chess and in Life!!!
And your only getting started!!!
That’s a lovely gesture Susan! It’s a far better idea than the Bb6 I just played!
