This is the first game that either machine played anything other than 1.e4. Rybka needs to win to even up the match. In the middle part of the game at the moment, Rybka has the evaluation +.80 or so. Zappa has it at around +.20.

I think this is a real shocker for Rybka team. Team Zappa is really amateurish. Anthony Cozzie spent only 8 days for the new version since he has Ph.D qualifying exams. Just have a look at their web page :
