Be6 looks interesting at first glance, but I don’t see a killer move at the end of:
1. Be6 Be6
2. Ne6 fe6 and now what? Black is threatening to castle out of the line of fire, and I don’t see a way to prevent it. However, attacking the e6 pawn in a more indirect way may be more profitable:
1. Nf7 Kf7
2. Ne6 Be6 (what else?)
3. Qe6 with mate to follow. If
1. …..Rf8
2. Ne6 with a powerful attack and two pawns to boot.
