1. Bb6+ Ke8
2. Qa4+ Qd7
3. Qa8+ Qd8
4. Qxd8+ checkmate
Well, I suppose the moral on this one is to make a practice of sitting on one’s hands before making a move, preventing oneself from playing 1. Rb8 before noticing that Black has a perpetual check beginning with 1. .. Ng3+ followed by 2. .. Nf1+. Then White, having sat on his or her hands long enough, will notice that:
1. Bb6+ Ke8 2. Qa4+ Qd7 3. Qa8+ will suffice to clobber Black.
1. Bb6+ Ke8
2. Qa4+
1 – Bb6 Ke8
2 – Qa4+ Qd7
3 – Qa8+… +-
1. Bb6+ Ke8
2. Qa4+ Qd7
3. Qa8+… winning
I am sorry but the right continuation is to offer a draw, because it maybe gets me solving rating 1400, which I wanted very badly.
1.Bb6+ Ke8 (1…Qc7 2.Qxc7 Ke8 3.Qc8#)

1. Bb6+ Ke8 (Qc7 leads to mate)
2. Qa4+ Qd7
3. Qa8+ Qd8(Qcd)
4. QXd8(Qxc8)#
1. Bb6+ Ke8

3. Qa8+ and wins

Huh? How can this NOT be the superobvious Bb6+ followed by Qa4+ ??
Monkey see check, monkey play check:
1. Bb6 Ke8
2. Qa4 Qd7
3. Qa8 and I think mate is unavoidable.
