Very flashy / pretty / cool … but is it sound?

I’m guessing
1.Re6! (threating 2.Nxg4 BxN 3.Rg6+ PxR (3…Kh8 (Or.3…Kf8 4.RxB and white is winnig) 4.QxP+ Kf8 [4…Kh8 5.Qh5+ Kg8(Or…5.Kf7) 6.QxB+ Kf8 (Or.6….Kh8) 7.Re3 wins] 5.Re6 Bf6 6.Bf4 win
There is really much black can do since:
1….PxR
2.Qg6+ Kh8
3.Nxg4 BxN
4.Qh5+ Kg8(Kg7)
5.QxB Kf8(kg8)
6.Re6 wins
Is this the New England master and local legend, John Curdo?
nothing comes to my mind but moving the knight to e4, perhaps via immediate nd2.
this creates a threat of nf6, and if the bishop retreats, then ng5 and qh7
1.nd2 nb3 2.ab g4 3.ne4 bg7 4.kg5 this position looks dangerous to black cause I cannot suggest anything positive; white has some obvious way of strengthening (+/-)
there is also 3… qf5 and this position looks too difficult to look into since white has a whole bunch of optionsm such as 4. bxd6, nxd6, nxf6 and even qd2. for example
4.nd6 qd3 5.cd bxd5 6.ne8 re8 now white is an exchange up for a pawn but weak pawns (+/= to =). or
4.nxf6 qf6 here blck has problems defending g4, d6 and e7; perhaps white regains the pawn (+=)
black also has
2…a5 3.ne4 a4 4.ba ba 5.c4 qf5 (5…a3 is not possible because of 6.nf6+ ) and basically same ideas as in previous critical position. I like a5 better

i dont see a win after re6.

saw the game but still i not getting it. 3.nd4 kh8 with the ideas of bg7 and bd5 evan 4. f4 but even after fe 5. ke6 rg8 6. kh2 rg7 7. rh1 kg8 things look gloomy but black is still a whole piece up and nothing is really forced
(e.g. 6. qf5 rg7 7kg7 qf5 8. nf5 bxd5 doesnt look all that lost)
i guess kh6 was a mistake. Tals’ attack: it never ends. beautiful game anyway!

Well, it seems that I made a lot mistakes in my analysis.
1.Re6 (threating 2.Nxg4 BxN 3.Rg6+ PxR (3…Kh8 (Or.3…Kf8 4.RxB and white is winnig) 4.QxP+ Kf8 [4…Kh8 5.Qh5+ Kg8(Or…5.Kf7) 6.QxB+ Kf8 (Or.6….Kh8 7 Re3) 7.Re6 wins] 5.Re6 Bf6 6.Bf4 win
Now, black could play:
1…..NxB
2.Nxg4 BxN (forced since 2…Kf8 3.Qh7 BxN 4.Qh8#)
3.Rg6+ BxR (forced since a)3…Kf8 4.RxB and the only way for black to stop 4.Qh7 5.Rg8# is by 4…f6 [note: 4…e6 loses to 5.dxe Rxp [5…fxp 6.Bxd6+] 6.RxR QxR [6…fxR 7.Bxd6+ wins again] 7.Bxd6+ Ke8 8.Re5 Nc5 9.Qd4 and wins
henryk, nxg5 is a nice idea, but after 1 … nxb3 2.nxg5 bxg5 3 rxg6 fg 3 qg6 kh8 4. re6 simple 4… nd4 or bxd5 or nc5 may work for black
4… nd4 5 qxg5 ne6 6 qf5 kg7 7. de qc6 and white has no defence agains qxg2 beyond a perpetual
or am i missting something?
