1..) g5 1) fg (forced..otherwise g4 and rook is lost 2..)kg6 2) kf2 (trying to protect the rook 3..)kXg5 3) kf1 or kg1 4..) kg4 4) kg2 5..) move knight anywhere 5) zugzwang..move anything and black loses
1….. g5 2. fxg5 Kg6 .. as the rook is stuck there, it’s a matter of time before black will lose..
if black din grab the g pawn but do other stuffs, then g4..
Walk the line Kh6-h5-g4,
zugzwang
0-1
Th rook is trapped after Kh6 – Kh5 – Kg4. If white tries Kg2 to protect the rook, a knight move will put white in zugzwang.
…Kg4
rook cannot move
should win
In my view white is lost anyway as his rook has no place to go. So any way the black king approaches to g4, followed by a knight jump to bring white into zugzwang, should win this for black pretty easily.
1. …e5 looks logical and strong.
1)Kh6
Kh6-Kh5-Kg4. black has a great advantage with this closed position and I guess safer than the forceful g5 fxg5, Kg6..
e5 is another choice any capture will win the game. And if white did not capture the e-pawn Kh6 or g5 would be decisive..
But I will go for e5. That’s my opinion..
What’s exactly the point of 1…e5?
It’s a totally irrelevant line, cause you still have to catch the rook and a white pawn on e5 doesn’t help that cause, au contrair!
It will be great to watch Army Black Knights,i have bought tickets from TicketFront.com looking forward to it.
