Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
It seems Nana Dzagnidze’s result is normal so normal…
Yildiz, Betul Cemre. How in the world did she get a place in there? And – who is the Ecuador woman?
Everd heard of organizers nominees?
Is Ignatius Leong Chief Arbiter again? What has he done now to punish chess sinners?
‘Yildiz, Betul Cemre.’ She probably has good connections with FIDE officials.
Nana Dzagnidze is very sexy. Its very hard to play against such players.
‘Ever heard of organizers nominees?’
No, but I heard of having “good relations”.
“What has he done now to punish chess sinners?”
Nothing yet. We all wait for im to start playing and get punished himself by an arbiter.
Yildiz is there because Turkey has a tournment in the grand prix series. She is totally out classed by the rest of the field.
Yildiz is learning. That’s what’s important. This is how all prodigies started out, by being thrown to the lions. Even Kasparov, though he beat up everyone when he started, too. I hope Yildiz makes at least one draw, so to avoid harsh punishments at home.
If I were chief arbiter, I’d warn Yildiz to play better chess, so not to embarass the game in front of the media. If she doesn’t comply, I’d consider taking her out for dinner.
