FIDE President arrived to the FIDE Presidential Board meeting

FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived to Antalya, Turkey where on 4-5 February he participates in the work of the FIDE Presidential Board. This meeting of the governing body of the World Chess Federation is the first one after the elections which were held during the FIDE Congress in Khanty-Mansiysk, the Russian Federation.
New composition of the Presidential Board discusses the enormous agenda consisted of 60 items. The most important among them is the question of holding the World Chess Championship 2012. It was decided that a separate press-release on this item will be spread the soonest.
FIDE President also took part in the closing ceremony of the Turkish Youth Chess Championship 2011 where he delivered a greeting speech and together with the FIDE Vice President, President of the Turkish Chess Federation Mr. Ali Nihat Yazici awarded the victors and prize winners of the competition.
This is a critical meeting.
