A few days ago, I announced about the FREE Susan Polgar Foundation Chess Training Guide / Curriculum. I just finished (manually) emailing to all that have made requests so far.
I am kind of stunned of the response. More than 3,000 have made requests from 41 states and around 80 countries! To be honest, I could have never imagined these kind of numbers in such a short time!
Some even asked for permission to translate it to different languages. My answer is of course yes and I hope they can be shared with others.
I do have one request. PLEASE let me know how it is working out with your schools, students, clubs, etc. I always try to make improvements and your feedbacks will certainly help everyone. Thank you!
A few email got bounced back so if you made a request and did not get it, please send me your alternative email to PolgarFoundation@aol.com.
Susan,
You are doing amazing job for chess! I recieved the training guide and I am planning to use it to train the kids in my city whom I know sa well as my adult friends who have keen interest on playing chess better.
Thank you for everything.
Susan:
I am one of those you sent the curriculum to. I haven’t had the chance to peruse it as carefully and to be honest, I’m not sure when I can put it into action. But I did publicize the link to a bulletin board thread for scholastic chess teachers in the Philippines.
Thanks for all the work you do,
John Sy
if its ok with susan, would it be possible for u to post it as a pdf file in tour website and we’ll jst download it.
I agree, why not put it on your site or blog, instead of emailing?
Susan,
I was finally able to get mine on my work email. It looks wonderful! I am hoping to start using it at my son’s school. It is a new charter school with emphasis on kids with high-functioning Autism and Aspergers. We are excited to use chess as a way to help foster social skills and school spirit.
I fully intend on making our team motto “Win With Grace, Lose With Dignity.”
Thanks for the wonderful resource!
chesschick, good luck! I hope it will work out great!
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar
