I am amazed to find out that there are quite a few members of the faculty at Texas Tech who play chess quite well, some even as high as around 2100! This may warrant an open section alongside with the Reshevsky Memorial Tournament in November.

‘Faculty’ not ‘faculties’. You have to learn the academic dialect.
I saw the word faculty used but not faculties so I don’t understand the previous comment.
