Chess greetings from Italy!

Just to remember that tomorrow the European Senior Championship starts in Courmayeur (Aosta Valley).

Tomorrow, Monday April 4, and the day after tomorrow, Tuesday April 5, there will be the ‘rapid’ tournament (25 minutes plus 10 seconds starting from the first move).

About 50 players are announced.

Then starting April 6 the European Senior: 9 rounds, Swiss system; time: 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes, plus 30 seconds starting from the first move.

100 players are announced (10 women) and this is the new record for the Senior Championship.
There will be at least 16 chessboards on line: www.scacchivda.com

(please note that it is not sure that there will be the transmission on line for the rapid, but the organizers will try to do)
