eNotate v2.0 released!
New Features for users and TDs/Arbiters/Organizers

On May 13, 2013 we released an updated version of our electronic scoresheet, eNotate. The new version is 2.0 and it is a required update over the previous versions.

v2.0 provides some great new features:

The ability to export your games in PGN format to an external memory card (SD), removing the need to sync your device to export your game or manually cutting / pasting the PGN to an external memory card;

The ability to convert your game from PGN to PDF format for printing. When printed, the scoresheet will fill out an 8.5×11 sized paper with 80 moves per sheet, printing for as many sheets as required, with the captured signatures of the players and TD/Arbiter.

The ability to export your PDF file to an external memory card (SD);

Tracking of time – eNotate now records two sets of times per player per move: [time to execute the move] and [total time elapsed by the player]

Based on requests from numerous players and TDs/Arbiters the following features were added as well:

Removing the ability to change moves by moving backwards on the visual board. In order to make move corrections you must follow the instructions outlined in the eNotate user manual. This feature reduces the concerns voiced by opponents of those using an electronic scoresheet and that of TDs/Arbiters that an electronic scoresheet user can analyze variations by going backwards and making quick changes;

Addition of logging functions for any changes made during a game. When a user corrects a mistake in their game, eNotate now logs that correction. The log is available during the game for a TD/Arbiter to review (by entering the move correction screen) and after a game has been saved by accessing the logs via the Configure menu option.

As an eNotate user, you are required to use version 2.0 of eNotate to maintain valid use during a USCF rated tournament.

Please contact me at sevan@nachess.org to find out how to secure your upgrade. As a valued eNotate user there will be NO CHARGE for this upgrade which includes great new features to make your life and that of your TD/Arbiter/Organizer easier.

**Note to TDs/Arbiters/Organizers – an eNotate Battle Card is in the process of being created outlining key areas that you should be aware of along with acceptable use guidelines for eNotate. This battle card will be available via free download from our website once it is available.**
