Rf4+ and W is stalemated or the Knight is lost, in any case it’s 1/2 – 1/2
White can play Rf4 skewering the king and knight since it is a draw by stalemate if black takes the rook. I think there may well be other drawing lines here, but see no reason to risk those.
1. Rf4+
1. Rf4+
Oh, come on! This is just an old sac for stalemate. I am not going to even list the obvious sac.
White is down by a knight and has no winning chances. Still, with his K on the edge of the board and the danger of a N fork,he still needs to work for the draw.
This he achieves by RF4 check.
KxR is stalemate. If Black eschews the capture,RXN draws.
i hope liem saw stalemate but refused to play. people who draw by stalemate, especially as white, have almost 0 honor.
1. Ra4-f4+
If 1. …Kf5xf4 then stalemate

1)Rf4 ! draws on the spot
Yancey has right of course. This is not a critical position but why risk something when having a way to draw immediately? This is practical Chess and this is good Chess
