Bf5+ Bxf5
a5+ Kg5
a6 e.g., Bc8
a7 and wins
A simple vista parece que 1.Bf5+, Bf5 2.h5+, Kg5 3.h6 y el alfil se queda sin movimientos..
1. Bxf5+, Bxf5
2. h5+, Kg5
3. h6
and so on
Bxf5 – Bxf5
Kg5 – h5
1.Bxf5+ Bxf5
2. h5+ followed by marching the h-pawn forces Black to give up on the B or one of the passed pawns, in both cases leading to a new White Q. Phil
h5+ looks like a winner.
simply advance the h-pawn, when the black kings takes it, play Bxf5, exchange the bishops and queen the c-pawn. greets, jan
1.h5+! Kg5 (1…Kxh5 2.Bxf5 1-0) 2.h6! Kg6 (what else?) 3.h7! and Black stands up. If White wants to be fancy about it, it looks like even 1.Bxf5+ Bxf5 2.h5+ works.
A simple h5 should win. The black king must never leave guard on the f5 square:
1. h5 Kg5 (Kh5 2.Bf5+-)
2. h6 and one of the white pawns will queen.
Easy:
1- Bxf5+ ; Bxf5
2- h5+ ; Kg5
(capturing with Kxh4 loses the bishop and the game)
3 h6; and now black can choose how he wants to lose :
a) 3- … ; Kxh6
4- Kxf5 +-
b) 3- … ; Kg6
4- h7; Kxh7
5- Kxf5 +-
c) 3- … ; kg4
4- h7 ; Bxf7
5- c8=Q +-
d) bishop moves also lose, because the bishop cannot prevent both pawns from queening, and black’s king is not in a position to help.
Incidently, I think white could also win with 1- h5+, using the same basic ideas, but I don’t feel like exporing those avenues further.
1.Bxf5+! Bxf5 2.h5+ Kg5 3.h6! 1-0
1 – Bf5+ Bf5
2- h5+ Kg5
3- h6 Kg6
4- h7 Kh7
5- Kf5
h5+ and Bxf5 would seem to seal the deal.
h5! Black cannot then prevent both of white’s pawns from reaching the 8th rank.
1 h5+
using the h pawn to drag away the black King, then Bxf5 forcing Black’s bishop away so the white pawn queens
1 Bxf5+ Bxf5 2 h5+ Kg5 3 h6 Kxh6 Kxf5
If 3… Bh7 c8=Q
3… Kg6 4 h7 Kxh7 5 Kxf5 Kg7
6 h8=Q
3… Bc8 4 h7 Kg6 5 h8=Q
1.Bf5! Bf5 2.h5+ Kg5 3.h6 Kg6 4.h7 +-
1. Bxf5+ Bxf5 2. h5+ looks interesting.
just move it, move it h5
Bxf5+, Bxf5
