  The first position is a win for white, the second is a draw.

  Position 1:
  1.Kh3 f5
  2.Kg3 Kh6
  3.Kf4 Kg6
  4.h5+ with an easy win.

  Position 2:
  1.Kh3 f6 (1.Kg3 f5)
  2.Kg3 f5
  3.Kh3 f4
  4.exf4 e3
  5.Kg3 e2
  6.Kd2 Kxh4
  7.Kxe2 Kg4
  8.Ke3 Kf5 =

  I think the left diagram is a win for White, and the right is a draw.

  For example:

  1. Kg3 Kg6
  2. Kg4 f5+
  3. Kf4 Kf6
  4. h5 Kg7

  White picks up the Black pawns, and Black cannot prevent the e pawn from promoting.

  1. Kg3 Kh6
  2. Kg4 Kg6
  3. Kf4 Kh5
  4. Kxe4 Kxh4
  5. Kf5 Kg3

  White cannot get Black’s f-pawn without losing the e-pawn.

  Lots of variation in both, but the ideas are the same.

  both wins for white w/ the first with 1. Kh3 and for the second position with 1. Kg3
