Dhamso International Chess Festival
| The Old Boys’ Chess Association of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda is organizing the Dhamso International Chess Festival, an Internationally Rated open chess Event for the second time in collaboration with the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka and FIDE, with a total prize of nearly Rs 300,000/- in cash awards. So the announcement comes on April 21st and the tournament started on April 19th. But this is so with most “international” tournaments in Sri Lanka. They seem not to want any international competition.
