After announcing his ticket a few days ago, the candidate for ECU President Silvio Danailov published the CVs of his team on the official site of his campaign.

1. Mr.Tomasz Sielicki (Poland)- Deputy President

Mr. Tomasz Sielicki is 50 years old. He is graduate of the Technical University in Warsaw. First employee, shareholder, President 1992-2005, and driving force behind the market successes of ComputerLand (now Sygnity).

Mr. Sielicki is member of multiple boards: Agora, Budimex, Sygnity (all listed at Warsaw Stock Exchange), Polish Private Employees Confederation, Warsaw Stock Exchange Arbitration Court, United Way, Junior Achievement Foundation, Institute of Public Affairs, Information Society Development Foundation (partner of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation), Trilateral Commission and some others. Currently he is investor in several companies from various industries.

Mr. Tomasz Sielicki is recognised by Time Magazine, BusinessWeek (Stars of Europe 2005), Davos World Economic Forum (Global Leader of Tomorrow), Wall Street Journal (Central Europe’s Top 10 Executives), as well as by Warsaw Stock Exchange (Best Public Company), Polish Business Centre Club (Leader of Business), Polish IT Chamber (Info-Star).

Since July 2009, Mr. Sielicki is President of the Polish Chess Federation, delegate to FIDE and ECU, amateur chess player ( ELO around 2000).

2. Mr. Ion-Serban Dobronauteanu (Romania)- Vice President

Mr. Ion-Serban Dobronauteanu is born in 1968. He has degrees from the Polytechnic University and the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. Presently he studies PhD in agricultural economics. Speaks Romanian, English and French.

Mr. Dobronauteanu is shareholder and Deputy General Manager of Euro Trade Invest SA (trade with food and non-food goods) and shareholder and Export Coordinator of Murfatlar Romania SA (wines production). He is President and Vice – President of Wine National Interprofessional Organization and National Vineyard Growers and Wine Producers Association.

Ion-Serban Dobronauteanu is National Chess Master (ELO 2215). As a junior he was a member of rewarded teams at the National Team Championship. Organizer of many Open Bucharest Tournament editions and numerous national chess events. Responsible for organizing and financing of Anatoli Karpov vs. Andrei Istratescu (2005) and Veselin Topalov vs. Dieter Nisipeanu (2006) matches.Mr. Dobronauteanu is member of the Organizing Commitee of Kings Tournament-Bazna, Romania.

President of the Romanian Chess Federation, January 2006-february 2010. Founding member, President and Vice-President (by rotation) of the Balkanic Chess Federation. Ion-Serban Dobronauteanu is initiator of the Balkanic Chess Circuit “Grand Prix”. In present, Permanent Delegate to FRS at FIDE and ECU.

3. Mrs. Sava Stoisavljevic (Serbia)-Secretary General

Mrs. Sava Stoisavljevic was born in Novi Sad, Serbia in 1974. She is graduate of Economic University in Novi Sad. She has advanced level in English and intermediate level of Greek and Russian.

She began to play chess at age of 6. Mrs. Stoisavljevic was Youth Champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina few times, and became Youth Champion of Yugoslavia in 1992 and 1993. Sava Stoisavljevic has been awarded with the title of women FIDE master in 2001, she has one WIM norm and won the National League in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina few times. Mrs. Stoisavljevic has a title of International Chess Arbiter, she is a member of the highest chess arbiters group “A” and official FIDE lecturer. She is nominated for Chief Arbiter of the Chess Olympiad in Khanty Mansiysk and she is the first woman in history to occupy this position. Sava arbitrated in different international competitions, the most important among them are: Chess Olympiads (Bled’2002, Torino’2006, Dresden’2008), Women’s FIDE Grand Prix Tournament, Nalchik’2010, World Women Championship’2007, World Junior (or Youth) Championships’2003, 2005, 2006.

Beside this, Mrs. Stoisavljevic was Project Coordinator or Project Manager of more than 20 international chess events and European Championships. Some of the events which she organized are declared as the best organized with record number of participants: Individual European Chess Championship, Budva’2009, European Youth Championships’2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, etc.

Presently Mrs. Stoisavljevic is European Chess Union Grand – Prix Director, Secretary of the Balkan Chess Association and member of the FIDE Qualification Committee.

4.Mr. Almog Burstein (Israel)-Treasurer

Mr. Almog Burstein, born in 1950, an economist and accountant, was involved in all kinds of chess activity for almost 40 years. In 1972-1976 he was the Secretary of the Israel Chess Federation, and in 1976 – Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Haifa Chess Olympiad, which was the first Olympiad to use a computer and to be run according to the Swiss System. Nine times (more than anyone else in the world) he was a member of the Olympiad Pairings Committee (now within the Technical Administration Panel), and since 1994 the Chess Olympiads were run according to the Burstein System. In 1995 – 1998 he was a member of FIDE Central Committee and since 2004 he is the Delegate of ICF to FIDE and ECU. As an International Chess Arbiter (since 1977) he has been the organizer and/or arbiter of many local, national and international tournaments (including Deputy Chief Arbiter of the World Team (2005) and World Blitz (2006) Championships).

Almog Burstein was also quite successful as an amateur player. In simultaneous exhibitions held in Jerusalem he drew against World Champion Garry Kasparov (in 1996) and won against the world’s best woman player, Judit Polgar (in 2005). In 2007 he won the title of Deputy World Amateur Champion (and got a FIDE rating of 2100). In 1994 – 2006 Burstein was involved in the Israeli political life, holding public positions such as Chairman of the Hod Hasharon (his hometown) Worker Council, CEO of Shinui (the Liberal Party of Israel) and Deputy Mayor of Hod Hasharon (including Chairman of the Municipal Committee of Finance).

Since 2006 Burstein is a publisher of textbooks and the Business Development Director of Bookware Ltd. – a company which has developed the first Hebrew electronic book.
