1. Nf5+ gxf5 2. Qh6+ Kg8 3. Qh8#

1. … Kf/g8 2. Qh8#
1.Nf5+ Kf6
2.Rxd6+ Re6
3.Qh4+ g5
4.Qh6#
No.4….. Ng6 is possible.
3.g5+ Kxg5
4.Qh4#
After 4…. Ng6 5.Qg7# but 2.g5+ is faster.
You are right.
My idea of 2.Rxd6+ was to block e6( It was also continuation of Karthik’s) but it is unnecessary.
2.g5+ Ke6
3.Rxd6#
Not sure why I thought 2. Rxd6 was mate. Need more coffee in the mornings.
