He played 1.Bc6.
But what about 1…Ra1! 2.Kb2 Nc6:
Let’s try this:
1.Bh3 Ra1+
2.Kb2 Rxh1
3.Rxd7 Nc6
4.c8=Q+ Nd8
5.Qxd8#
1.Bc6 is a very nice move. Not sure I would have found it had I been playing. I would probably have played 1.Re2.
