Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I think Radjabov has come to play chess. I think he will have a reasonably good tournament. Have to watch him a bit more to see just how well.
I was disappointed in Topalov’s fighting spirit in game one. But he usually starts slow.
Hopefully this will be a good round of fighting chess.
My predictions: There were enough draws yesterday to last for two or three days, so I’m predicting 5 wins tomorrow:
Motylev-Anand (0-1)
Aronian-Ponomariov (1/2-1/2)
Carlsen-Navara (1-0)
Svidler-Tiviakov (1-0)
Kramnik-Shirov (1-0)
Radjabov-Karjakin (1/2-1/2)
Topalov-van Wely (1-0)
What a bold prediction 🙂
Best wishes,

anyone tipping seven draws under 40 moves?
I will.
Why does Topalov have one more game with white than do Anand and Kramnik ?
@icebear
14 players in the group with the given format yields 13 games for each 🙂
Prediction:
After a slow start we will see some blood today!
Motylev-Anand (0-1)
Aronian-Ponomariov (1/2-1/2)
Carlsen-Navara (1-0)
Svidler-Tiviakov (1/2-1/2)
Kramnik-Shirov (1-0)
Radjabov-Karjakin (1/2-1/2)
Topalov-van Wely (1/2-1/2)
Bold, yes, Susan, but was there anyone with better predictions?
