Computer Labs for Kids – Los Angeles, CA

Computer Labs for Kids is 501c3 non-profit organization. We deliver a two part program. The first part is The Way to Happiness which helps children learn how to be good laptop owners. The second part is The Basics of a Laptop. After successful completion of both courses, the children receive their very own personalized laptop to keep!

Location: United Care, 3699 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016
Time: 2-5pm on Saturday February 6th, 2010
Participants: 20 foster care children (ages 5 through 8).

Volunteers:

20 One-on-One Volunteers: volunteers were assigned one child each and trained before the event on how to assist their “buddy” during
the course.
