1 … Bxg4
2 Qxg4 Qa1+
3 Kf2 Qe1+
4 Kf3 Qe3++
3 Ke2 leads to mate as well, but without the Q diversion Bxg4 the check on e1 wouldn’t be possible due to 4 Qxe1.

Isn’t it just Qa1+ leading to mate?
1…. Bxg4 wins
if the bishop is taken:
2. Qxg4 Qa1+
3. Kf2/e2 Qe1+
4. Kf3 Qe3#
else, the threat is … Qa1# and there is no adequate defence
1.Bg4 Qg4 leads to mate via Qa1, Qe1, Qe3.
Like Jorg, 1. …Qa1 was my first thought, but after 2.Ke2, it isn’t so clear how to finish off the kill since black must either guard the d2 bishop with Qc1, or move him, so black no longer has time for Bg4. With this in mind, it was immediately obvious that the deflection of white’s queen should come first:
1. …..Bg4!
2. Qe1
Every other truly different option is mate or loses massive material: [2.Qg4 Qa1 3.Qd1 (or 3.Ke/f2 Qe1 4.Kf3 Qe3#) 3. …Qd1 4.Kf2 Qe1 5.Kf3 Qe3 6.Kg4 h5 with mate to follow]; or [2.Kg1 Qa1 3.Bf1 Be2 4.h4 (or 4.Qf2 Be3-+) 4. …Qf1 5.Kh2 Bf4-+].
2. …..Be1 and black wins.
The immediate Qa1 allows the king to escape to e2. cut off the escape first.
1. … Bxg4
2. Qxg4 Qa1
3. Ke2 (or Kf2) Qe1
4. Kf3 Qe3#
1….. Qa1+
2. Ke2! and white is safe.
(2. Kf2?? Qe1+!
3. Kf3 Qe3# )
So….
1….. Bxg4! is a good way to start, cutting off the white king’s escape. White cannot capture the bishop as then the black queen gets access to the ‘e1’ square.
Black is now threatening Qa1 which is very strong now. The only way out, I feel, is
2. Kg1, but after the precise
2….. Qa1+
3. Bf1 Be2!
4. Qf2 Be3!
it is 0-1
Black suffers from the disadvantage of the bishop pair, so therefore he should play Bd4, forcing a trade of one of the clerics.
