Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
China is rapidly becoming one of the chess super-powers withmany young talents coming up. Hou Yifan for example is an incredible talent for China, especially at such a young age!

Susan you are none too late to get the girls in American going on their chess. I hope we can compete with you helping out.
China is now serious and the USCF keep wallowing in the mud. I really do not think the USCF ever cared about trying to have America compete on a world level. They have such a small mind over there.
I think the third round is already finished by the time you post this…
China again wins 4-0 against Poland. Is there any team that can stop China?
The Chinese girls are powerful and it seems that no other team can beat them at least in a few years. However, I really don’t appreciate their training methods. Boys and girls are trained to be like chess machine to bring honor for the country.

Would you mind enlightening us with the source of your information?
I do wish to borrow your time machine once in a while 🙂
I dream to send my daughter to Russia (St. Petersburg) to learn chess maybe… but now I think Guang Zhou or Beijing will do.
There is something wrong in the crosstable. Georgia’s scores shows a “1” against China but China’s score does not show that they played against Georgia at all.
