Is it Victor Korchnoi?????
smyslov?
Dear old Viktor?
Karpov or Beliavsky
It’s Karpov. Followed by Beliavsky.
karpov
Magnus Carlsen :o)
Yes
I would guess Korchnoi, but maybe he’s fallen out of the top 100. The oldest grandmaster, period, is of course the great Andor Lilienthal, 98 years young.
My guess would have be Korchnoi, but when I looked, I found he had fallen out of the top 100.
Karpov is the oldest in the top 100 at age 58 or 59 while Beliavsky is higher rated at age 56 or 57.
I am pretty sure that Anatoly Karpov is the oldest.
I believe it is Karpov, but after his last tourney is included he’ll drop out. Korchnoi dropped out about a year ago, so now I’m older than all of them.
