Kasparov could be the guy at the top, Karpov is definitely the guy second from the top. Tal is probably the guy at the bottom. I have no clue who is second from the bottom.
I think they are 4 small or big patzers playing at some friendly tournament.
I think the Anonymous commenter at 10:18 CST is correct- the bearded guy is Artur Yusupov. He is much more gray these days, as are we all.

Must ’86 Olympiad or later, as Kasparov would not have been first board in 1982 or 1984. Probably neither Karpov or Kasparov would have played in the 1984 Olympiad unless it was early in the year. They would have been preparing for the ill-fated 1984 World Championship match.
The bearded guy is Barry Gibb.
