Chess – Run

A Fun Event

Presented by the Lincoln County Scholastic Chess Club (LCSCC)

• Open to All – Who will be the overall champion?
• Participants run/walk a timed mile at registration. The time that they set will be their opponent’s game time for the five round swiss-paired chess tournament which follows.
• Saturday July 25, 2009
• Registration 11:00-11:45 am at Newport High School Track
• Timed one mile run 12:00 noon at Newport High School Track
• Chess tournament 1:00 pm held at the Lincoln County PUD Building
on Hwy 101 in Newport.
• $5.00 registration.
• 3 foot tall Championship trophy for winner. Additional age-group trophies
as participation allows.
• Bring sets and clocks.
