There is Chess Night at the Lakewood Blue Claws game on Monday August 3rd. $12 gets you the following:
-Ticket to the game First pitch 7:05 p.m.
-To compete in the Speed Chess Tournament (5 minutes per side) starts at 4:30 p.m. You must register by July 30th. The winner of the tournament gets to the throw the first pitch of the game.
-To play in the Chess Simul by WGM Jennifer Shahade (She will play many players at one time.) Shahade will sell and sign her books. Call Mark Zaiger at 732-901-7000 Ext.161 or e-mail him at mzaiger@blueclaws.com It is better to call him to reserve a spot as the number of spots of the simul are limited.
-Voucher for a hot dog, soda and chips
-To enter nightly raffles
-Participation in Casual Chess, Speed Chess, and Bughouse Chess (a variant of chess, involving 2 teams of 2 players with 2 games going on at once) throughout the game
