Dear Folks:

Here is the information you have been waiting for Schenectady! The popular “Chess in the City” midday chess activity at Schenectady, NY started off quietly today(May 18)inside Proctors due to bad weather. It is scheduled to run on Mondays till August 31. After a break next Monday for Memorial Day, we will be back on June 1st in front of Proctors under the Marquee between 11:30am and 12:30pm(every Monday). We will have opportunities for skittles, blitz and finish off with a blitz tournament in the end of summer! Special addition this time is the instruction for beginners and the novice!!

Get the word out and come if you are working, visiting or driving by State street in Schenectady. Also, if you would like information about the blitz tournament keep us informed of your interest so that we do not miss writing or calling you to ensure your presence on that day! Do not hesitate to write back or call Community Outreach at (518)346-2275 Ext 317 if you have any questions.

In Chess and for the Community,
