Chess is booming in Texas! I was in El Paso about a month ago and I just came back from Laredo, Texas. Chess is thriving in both of these cities. In fact, chess is a mandatory activity is all schools in Laredo!
I am so proud of the hard work by many chess enthusiasts and educators to bring chess to young people in Texas. I have no doubt that it will continue to grow much more in the coming years.
