Chess players seek checkmate in Queen City

Rooks and pawns made their move on the Queen City over the weekend when 500 young players competed in the North Carolina Scholastic Chess Championship.
WFAE’s Julie Rose produced this postcard from the blitz tournament as kids from kindergarten through high school tried to outwit each other against the clock.
