This one is easy.
1. Bc2 bxc2
2. b3 cxb3
3. Ba3 b2+
3. Bxb2#
Very nice puzzle!! Not that easy though. I needed to move the pieces in order to find the right mating idea. i.e. mate on b2.
Anon 10:55. You have preceded me in a couple of minutes.
There are 2 solutions.
Also works with 2 b4 (which I prefer as it looks like stalemate.)
It was easy though.
Last ano, you are right. This is called a “Dual” in the german problem chess language, don’t know if the english word is “dual”, too!?
Lookig at the position I hoped for a “good chess problem” but I got disappointed as this is only a “boring” way to a mate. 🙁
Best wishes
Jochen
