He’ll get better with experience.
Who will get better with more experience? I’m just happy to see that the white player isnt winnin all the games all the time like with the old traditional guys, maybe just maybe black can get in a few blows.hey Susan “watch this” {Judge Mathis}I wonder what nige short and da boys gotta say bout dat!!! oops ebonics! haha
The mistake was 41.e4. With 41. Kc4 Carlsen would have kept the balance, and the position is drawn by perpetual. This seems like a “fatigue” error. Carlsen has been playing a lot of chess the last year or two, and I think he is just fatigued, in general.

Yes, youngsters lack energy to play long games. He will when he gets older.

Funny, funny. But, seriously, recently I heard an interview in which Carlsen was talking about how, while he was playing a game, he attained a superior position, but had trouble getting his mind going…he drank a Coke, but it was not helping…when an 18 year old talks like that, either 1.The game happened early in the day, or 2. He is a bit burned out….
I think it is mental fatigue…the constant drain…
Otherwise, he has all the talent in the world to see 41.Kc4!

can we please give Wang some credit here? the exchange sacrifice was brilliant conception and Wang’s initiative kept carlsen off balance and under pressure until he cracked. that’s how games are won in top-flight chess. and that’s how crowds are won over.
carlsen was simply outplayed. deal with it guys.
yeah dragnet!
I agree!
Carlsen may simply have reached a plateau. Just like in any sport, during a player’s development, there’s bound to be some dips and horizontal lines before the performance curve starts rising steadily again. And we can be sure that in Carlsen’s case, it’s only a matter of time before his playing strength starts increasing again. He is still a teenager, after all.
How does 41 K c4 draw?
41 Kc4 Qe2+
42 Kd5 Rd8 is about the same as in game
