There is something I find funny:
Live rating list not updated in the site (even though you can get it from calculations from others or do it yourself) in first 3 rounds. In the chessbase round 3 report they say
‘We do not want to start staring, transfixed, at the rating performance of Magnus Carlsen, or wondering what his live rating might be. It is too early in the tournament for that.’
Live rating list is updated before round 4. In the Round 4 report they say
‘Before this round Magnus Carlsen was just two points behind Vishy Anand in the inofficial “live ratings”. A win would have put him over the top. But that was not to be: Carlsen drew against Alexander Onischuk with black.’
Funny how their principle changed at the same time as the live rating list update!
Those guys at Chessbase better be careful.
One morning, they are going to wake up with a freshly cut horse head and a bottle of orange juice waiting for them in their bed!

I actually thought they were serious and surprised by their first statement. But alas it was too good to be true.
