Be5?
1. Be5 g4
else if 1. … Bxh2 2. g4+ and 3. gxh5 wins — because black’s bishop cannot simultaneously prevent both pawns from queening. while will sac his bishop for black’s g-pawn.
2. Bf6 Kxh2
3. Bh5 Kg2
4. Kd8
now white exchanges the e-pawn for black’s bishop, and then picks up the pawns on the king-side, and wins.
1 Be5 Kxh2
2 g4+ Kh3
3 gxh5 wins.
or,
1 Be5 h4
2 gxh4 gxh4
3 Kd8 Kg4
4 e8 wins since white bishop
controls tempo and h8.
g4
1.Be5
1…Kxh2 2.g4+ and 3.gxh5;
1…g4 2.Bf6 Kxh2 3.Bh4 followed by Kd8, e8=Q
Be5 seems most forcing. If g4, then Bf6 followed by Bh4; if Kxh2, then c4+; if h4, then gxh4; and if the B moves, then Kd8. After winning the Black B and the remaining B pawn(s), W can promote either the g or h pawn.
I think white wins this one with Be5. Black can’t take on h2 because of g4+ followed by gxh5.
If black plays anything other than Kxh2 then white can win the black bishop with Kd8 followed by e8Q.
Black doesn’t really have a threat with h3 because white can just let black by hxg3. White can recapture on g3 with the pawn or bishop and form a blockade on the remaining black g pawn.
key move for Be5 if black kxh2,
g4 discover+ any black king move,
g4xh5 and black king got no time to capture h5pawn nor Ba4….next key move for white Kd4 forcing Bishop to capture pawn @e7e8(queen)…KxBe8 and white.
I think white win the game
looks like Be5 so that if Kxh2 then g4+. If Black replies g4 then Bf6 followed by Bh4, then white moves the king forward to win the black bishop for the advanced pawn and eventually wins
1. Be5 g4 (Not 1. … Kxh2 2. g4+ and Black’s bishop cannot stop both pawns.)
2. Bf6 Kxh2
3. Bh4 and White exchanges the e-pawn for Black’s bishop and then can pick up the g- and h-pawns to win.
1. … h4
2. Kd8 hxg3
3. hxg3 Kg4
4. e8(Q) Bxe8
5. Kxe8 Kf5
6. Kf7 Kxe5
7. Kg6 and White wins.
1. … Kg2
2. Kd8 Kf3
3. e8(Q) Bxe8
4. Kxe8 Ke4
5. Kf7 Kxe5
6. Kg6 and White wins.
