1…. Re3! 2. Bxa8 Rh3 with mate to follow soon.
1.. Nh3
2.. Qg1#
1… Re3; 2. Ba8 (2. fe3, Nh3), Rh3 and 3…Qh1
White has a G-spot… LOL
To clarifie myself: whita has a G-spot but the first move to find is Re3! Only now we can explore the G-spot…
1 … Re3 2…Nh3 intending …Qg1#
… Re3 intending …Nh3
1. … Re3 threatens to capture bishop and mate on h1
2. fxe3 Nh3 with mate on g1 or f2, white queen is helpless
2. Bc6 Rh3
3. d3 Qh1+
4. Bxh1 Rxh1#
those are really brilliant rook moves!
greets, jan
1…Re3!2.fe Nh3 and mate on g1 is unstoppable.
1…Re3!2.fe Nh3 and mate on g1 is unstoppable.
Two considerations:
– if Bf3 not there then #
– if Nh3 then e2-e3
So:
1…Re3 blocks e2
if 2.fxe3 Nh3
if 2.other Nh3

1…Re3 2.fe3 Nh3 with a forced mate
1. … Re3
the threat is 2… Rxf3 and 3… Qg2#
and also 2… Nh3 and 3… Qg1#
if
2. fxe3 Nh3
and 3… Qg1#
if
2. Bxa8 Nh3
and 3… Qg1#
white has no good defense
I instantly liked:
1. … Re3!!
This looks brilliant to me. How will now white prevent both Nh3 – Qg1# and also Rxf3 – Qh1#?
2. Bxa8/fxe3 Nh3
3. any Qg1#
Preventing white from playing e3 was the issue here.

Hello.
1. …..,Re3! win
2.fe3,Nh3 threatening Qg1#
1….Re3, 2.Nd5 Nh3 3.Nf6+ Kh8 4.fxe3 Qg1#
1.Re3 (threatening to take the bishop, after which 2.Qg2 is mate), f2xe3 2.Nh3 and black has to give up the queen to stop mate by Qf1. 1.Nh3 doesn’t work because Black can play e3 or e4.
