Rd5
Rxd5! wins.
… cxd5 is followed by Rxc8 and, if Qxc8, Nxe7 winning the queen while … Qxd5 loses to Nxe7.
I see Rxd5 and the black Queen has to hide to e8, else the white K will kick!
White can leave the R ‘en prise’ cause if cxd5, Rxc8, Qxc8 and the K will kick again.
So after hiding Qe8, Bh6 wins a R, a position which is totally lost for black.
Hiiiiihuhuhuhuuuuu-pfffrrrrrbbrbrr….Game over.
1.Nh6#
Rxd5 followed by Bh6 looks marvelous:
1. Rxd5! Qe8
Only move.
cxd5? Rxc8! Qxc8 Nxe7+
Qxd5? Nxe7+
Qc7? Rxc6! Qxc8 Nxe7+
2. Bh6!
Threats Ng7 and the Qe8 is trapped.
2. … gxf5
Anything else is equally bad.
Bb4 Nh6+ Kg7 Qf6#.
3. Qg3+ Bg5
4. Qxg5+ Kh8
5. Qg7#
After Rxd5! the Q is basically trapped. Qe8 fails terribly to Bh6!
The longest lasting could be:
1. Rxd5 Re8
2. Rxd8 Bxd8
Up with Q+2p for R.
What I came up with is Rxd5 Qe8 Qg4 +/-
1. Rxd5 cd
2. Rxc8 Qd7
3. Nh6+ Kg7
4. Rxf8 Bxf8
5. Qf6#
Rxd5
1. Rxd5!! should win at least a pawn
Main threat of
1…. cxd5
2.Rxc8 Qxc8
3.Nxe7+ and wins
if 1…. Qxd5
then 2. Nxe7+
1…. Qc7
then 2. Bb6 Qxb6 3.Nxe7+

I know this game. It inspired me to take up the Open Ruy for a while. Curious, since black lost spectacularly here.
How sweet would it be to find that over the board.
Rxb4, discovered check, and mate in two (only two moves to defend for black, bishop and qween)
